Latest COVID-19 updates from Dr. Maron's dental office

Update for May 11, 2020

Our office hopes that everyone is healthy and adapting to the new, hopefully, temporary normal. As I write this note, I do not have an update on when we will be able to open our office for routine dental care.

However, I have full confidence that we will be able to offer our patients a safe experience in our office when we are given permission to reopen. Dental offices have historically adapted their sterilization and disinfection procedures during past disease outbreaks. We adapted during the HIV/AIDS epidemic and also when we became aware of the risk of Hepatitis B. We are accustomed to working with masks and gloves when treating all of our patients and using alcohol and Lysol to disinfect our rooms between patients.

As we learn more, I will provide you with updates on changes that we are making in the office and some of the courses that I have been taking during this long hiatus (a great opporunity for continued learning, which you know I love).

I look forward to returning to work and seeing all of you soon.

Fred S. Maron DMD
